A: The term "nutraceuticals" is derived from two other familiar terms: nutrition and pharmaceuticals. The result is a word that refers to dietary supplements and/or nutritional ingredients that promote optimal health, and that are usually 100% natural in composition and process.

A: We accept the following credits cards for online orders: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. While placing your order, you’ll be prompted to enter your credit card number, expiration date, and your name as it appears on the card. If you would prefer to call in your credit card information and complete your purchase by phone, you are able to do so by calling: (800) 330-8998.  If you would like to pay by personal check or money order, please print out a copy of your online Shopping Cart once your total (including shipping & handling fees) has been calculated and mail or fax it to:

A: If you do not feel comfortable sending your credit card information to us over the Internet, you still can shop with us. We welcome you to call us to complete your purchase by phone, mail or fax. 

A: We ship our products around the world. To find out when you will receive your item, you need to consider the availability of the item you ordered and the shipping option that you selected. A: See the Ordering page for fully-detailed information about product returns. HMI will accept the return of new, unopened and undamaged products within 45 days of receipt for a full refund (less shipping/handling and inventory fees). Under most circumstances, your refund will be processed within 14 business days of receipt of the returned product. Products that do not meet our return guidelines will not be accepted for a return unless approved by an HMI representative.

Placing an Order
A: Our Safe Shopping Guarantee: Under federal law, a credit card issuer cannot make you liable for charges in excess of $50.00 that result from the unauthorized use of your credit card.  There are similar federal laws that relate to debit cards.  Exceptions do apply, and you will have to comply with the rules of your credit card or debit card issuer, so please contact your card issuer for further details.  If a credit card or debit card issuer assesses you a fee because of the unauthorized use of your credit card or debit card on our website, www.virtualhmi.com, will reimburse you for such amount up to $50.00.  Please contact our Customer Service department at (800) 330-8998 for further details.

A: To view the contents of your shopping cart at any time, simply click on the “View My Shopping Cart” link located on the home page and individual product pages of the virtualhmi.com website. You are under no obligation whatsoever to purchase items that you have placed in your cart; it was simply designed as a convenient way for you to keep track of the  items that you have found while visiting virtualhmi.com.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation within 24 hours of placing your order. (Please contact us if you have not received an e-mail confirmation of your order after this time.)  One of our representatives reviews your order and confirms that all of the items you've requested are available for immediate shipment. Your order is then packed and shipped within 2 business days of your order. Your credit card is charged only when your order ships.  You are charged only for the items that have been shipped. If an item is backordered, we will notify you immediately, and you will be charged for that portion of your order only when it is ready to ship.  If we have to send you multiple shipments, you will pay only one shipping charge (dependent upon the total dollar amount of your product order).  You will receive a second e-mail confirmation when your order has been shipped. 
 

A: If you would like to cancel your order, please contact our a HMI representative by phone at (800) 330-8998 or by e-mail at orders@virtualhmi.com.  Please have your order number ready so that we may easily access your account. If your order has entered our shipping process it cannot be canceled. (All in-stock products ship out within 2 business days of order placement.)  Should that occur, you can simply return our shipment within 30 days and we will apply the appropriate refund upon receipt of the items in their original condition.
Redeeming Coupons
A: Please double-check the requirements of your coupon to make sure they are met - every coupon has different rewards and requirements and, unless otherwise specified, can be used only once.  If you have questions about the exact terms of a coupon you received for HMI products, please contact us via phone at (800) 330-8998 or via e-mail at: custserv@virtualhmi.com

A: When preparing to checkout, your shopping cart will contain a special field for entering your unique, 3 or 4 character coupon code. Enter the coupon code into the field provided. (NOTE: Only one coupon can be used per order.) When you have completely filled out the order form, click "Submit"  and your coupon will be automatically applied to your purchase.

A: Coupons with a dollar value or percent savings will be applied to the merchandise subtotal, before any shipping charges or taxes have been charged. Coupons for free shipping will automatically deduct any applicable shipping charges.

A: If you return an item that was purchased with a coupon, you will be refunded only for the amount you paid (e.g., the price of the item, less the coupon value).

A: HMI coupons have no physical cash value, and are not redeemable for cash.  They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
